Just got confirmation fro General Motors! In 2017 they did away with passenger seat icon and chime. They also did away with driver seat chime only on the 2017 Chevy 3500HD LTZ and work trucks! Guess it is not a safety issue to be buckled up, even though every state it is law! Now if I put something in back seat I get reminded when I get out of truck! Makes no sense.
