why wont it start did i fry the module in dest.?

Good chance but before you do anything check all the fuses you can find, in the past the engineers would protect a 15 amp fuse with a computer, now they've changed and actually do protect the modules. Remember there are wires called fuse links that look like burned wires, look around the starter for some of these fuse links.
