Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 97 silverado that I cracked
transmission in and it has a floor shifter 4as
and just recently got a parts truck same year
and color but has push button 4wd. Can I
just take transmission out of parts truck and
bolt my floor shift trans case to it or are
there any wiring harnesses or anything else I
need to change to make it work I'm pretty
sure it will just want some other input to
make sure I'm right? Any info would be
appreciated and helpful. Thanks

Really need some help answeringbthis I'm about to start ripping it apart tomorrow and wanna be sure before I start... Thanks for any input.
