why my truck wont start after sitting for a day can anyone shed some light on this for me

I have a 1999 Silverado that did the same thing and it was the abs motor running after the switch was turned off. next time you cut your truck off raise the hood and listen to see if you hear a little motor running. if you do take battery cable loose for a second or two and see if it stops. crank it up and cut it off and see if it stopped.
