2003 jeep liberty where is the fuel filter

the jeep will start and go for a short time,then stall. after some time,ti will restart. i
think it is the filter,but where is the filter

A 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee has only a filter in the tank! I had the same problem with a friends as you are having. I pulled the tank and changed the screen(filter) on the fuel pump and it has been good now for 12 months so far. Run the fuel out as low as you can and pull the tank -- no smoking while you do that job!!

your filter is located on the top of the tank, and i believe its more to the front of the vehicle, but 02 and 03 models do have a fuel filter
