what body type is a 1978 f250? could it be a superduty and if so how do i find out for sure?

the guy that i bought the truck from is trying to tell me that the truck is a super duty...i think its a ranger xlt. thats what it says on the glove box but on the fender it says f250 ranger and he claims that he just put the ranger emblem on it because he couldnt find the correct (superduty) emblem.....im going to add a photo of the info tag...let me know what you think. thanks for your help!!

Front hubs are 4 inches across. The rear axle hub shaft is 2 1/2 from the rim. It's all heavy duty underneath also

So what emblem belongs on the front fender? Right now there is a f250 ranger emblem that the guy I bought it from said he put on cause he couldn't find a superduty emblem. It makes sense now cause there wasn't a superduty truck for that year. Do u agree?
