if the supercharger is going out does it make a lot of noise similar to a rod knocking

there is  a bad knock in engine but at n50 mph and above it goes away and it feels like a
vibration on the intake side of the supercharger when i put my hand on it

Oftentimes such noise can be confused with a bad harmonic.. I suggest you take off the belt from the supercharger to determine if in fact its the supercharger. If in fact it is the supercharger most lightly a coupling has gone bad. A very simple fix.SEMPER FI Good luck>>>
