Ground issue?

Asked by Jerrydread Sep 10, 2018 at 07:26 AM about the GMC C/K 1500 Series

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

93 gmc k1500. When I turn,even
just curves on the road, all my
gauges freak out. That damn
seatbelt buzzer goes on,radio and
a.c. dim,no dashlights,speedometer
and tach bounce around,oil
pressure gauge ,all flip out. When I
even out,it all goes back to working.
What am I missing? And wipers
always come on with headlights.

Both sides. And when I hit a decent bump. What is grounding out,so you think? I took the fuse out for the lights, and it stopped shorting

Yeah,I'm doin all the work cause I'm broke. Thanks, buddy. I appreciate your input. If you have any ideas about why the wipers come on when I turn the headlights on,that'd be helpful too

Thanks. Way better than just yanking out mile after mile of wire, from the wrong area. Cheers, mate
