The distributor on the 94 is the main source of trouble about 90% of the trouble. I should know cause i have a 94 MX6 and the distributor gave me the main problem but if u look after it, it will give u trouble but not as much as an uncared for one. Hope this helped u. One more thing don't throw it away it is a very nice fast sports coupe. (Keep a reconditioned one on hand). Be very careful of the re-wiring colour codes if it does not have a plug, as these are often connected the wrong way round which will result in immediate burn-out of the coil.
