Out of state vehicle Purchase

If you're looking at a brand new vehicle it's usually not a problem for the Dealer to make a trade with another Dealer to get you the vehicle you want. But there are limitations. You'd need to talk to the Dealer about that. On a used vehicle, probably not. One option you have is to have the vehicle inspected by a professional inspection company. I've used lemonsquad.com for this with excellent results! You can have the vehicle inspected then drive it home if you decide to buy it. I did exactly that when I bought my 1994 Fleetwood. I bought the car in North Carolina and I live in New Jersey. It worked out well for me. You can also have the vehicle shipped to you, at your expense, but you should weigh the shipping costs against buying more locally. You have to ask yourself if the shipping costs or the gas, lodging, food, etc. costs, if you're driving the vehicle home, is still a better deal than buying locally. Hope that helps! Jim
