Thank you Tom, there is a security light flashing on the dashboard when the car is off, can you also help me onwwhere to locate the crankshaft sensor on the chevy spark?

That is a hard answer to find ... but if you go to the ignition module you will see a plug that has 2 or 3 wires ,,,, trace it to where it goes. Yours probably goes to the overhead cam on the top of the engine
