Could anyone give me more info on this truck?
This is my Grandfather's old truck and im gonna fix it up. To my understanding its a chevy Cheyenne. I believe its a 81'. Could I get info on the taillights? they're the first kind I've seen on chevy squarebodies. Any ideas what kind of engine it has? Any info provided is helpful. Thanks.

There is no way to tell what engine it has without seeing it. You could take a picture of it and post it. It's either the inline 6, 305 or 350 v8 or the 6.2 diesel. Those taillights don't belong on that truck, they are custom. Too short to be a 67-72 chevy truck. Could be older.
This truck is going to require a lot of restoration, depending upon your budget, how far are you willing to go? Do you really think it's worth it? I hope that your interior looks better than the exterior.
i have a lot of time to work on this. I know its gonna take a lot of work & a lot of money. But it's my grandfather's truck and im gonna get all of the work done in mexico where its cheaper. I know a reliable mechanic that's working on restoring my godfather's 65 dodge sweptline and im gonna have him work on this truck.

That truck was originally made in Mexico the tail lights are like that I have one like that 82 Cheyenne they are different from us chevys
