Why is my kia falling in neutral

Asked by Rudycote Sep 02, 2015 at 10:54 PM about the Kia Rio

Question type: General

I put my car on drive and it acts like its on neutral. That applies for on drive on second gear and on the first gear. To solve the problem I have to go back on park and everything is OK. It does this once in a while only. But it also happened on the highway during heavy traffic. Stopping on the highway and putting your car on park is kind of dangerous. What could cause that problem?
