Gas smell in cab while driving my 2017 GMC Sierra and heat is on. Where is smell coming from?

No answer but will let you know when I find out. My dad is experiencing the same problem. Been to the garage twice now and they say nothing is wrong. He is going back today . Another 100 mile round trip for a 77 year old man .
