1970 plymouth roadrunner

Asked by GuruDTF4SV Jul 17, 2024 at 11:40 AM about the Plymouth Road Runner

Question type: General

I liked the bahama yellow color for  1969.  It wasn't offered in 1970.  I told the salesman if could not get that color, order it in black and I'll have it painted bahama yellow.  My 4sp 1970 roadrunner arrived from the faactory painted bahama yellow.
paint code 999   I was offered $500 if I could prove it.  Where is it?

On Chrysler Products of that era I believe it's on the top of the radiator support. It's a square piece of metal riveted to the support. You can also remove the back seat and look for the build sheet. If it survived it's a piece of paper attached to the underside of the back seat. Good luck with your search! Let us know if you win the $500! Jim
