Can't get my car to crank.

I just put a brand new distributor cap and new wires and
plugs and cant get it to crank and can't get a spark from
the plugs.

Did you have the no spark problem before you replace the parts? Replace the rotor too? Spin the distributor by accident? Did you install the spark plug wires onto the cap in the correct location of each spark plug? Replace the center one that is coming from the coil? You need to mark the locations of the spark plug wires before you remove, as they have specific locations on the cap for each numbered cylinder. Maybe that is your issue?
