i have a 97 suburban 4x4 was driving 40-45 mph and it felt like it popped into nuetral.Now I cant get it to do anything in any gears

I belive the transmission is rebuilt.I have had it a year and no previous problems.

Check easy things first such as linkages and visible things under vehicle. Check the tranny dipstick for excessive debris (take a clean white cloth and wipe down the stick). If you see a lot of dark brown to black debris you have significant internal wear going on. If that checks out pull the pan and look at condition of fluid.
