i have 88 crx and had oil change and then check engine light keeps coming on is there a reason for this?

Check to make sure they didn't leave the plug loose. Sometimes what happens too is someone buys a vehicle and does an oil change with a light weigh oil not knowing what type oil it had before. The engine might've had internal wear and was using heavier oil so now with lighter weight you loose the pressure and light comes on
