Oil pressure sender problem

My 1086 Oldsmobile 98er dash alarts reads oil
pressure sending problem what would cause that
alert to come up?

Check you oil level. If that's not the issue the sensor or wiring has a problem.

I replaced the oil pressure sending unit and the oil pump new on the1996 Oldsmobile 98er nc the dash info was reading oil pressure sender problem also checked oil level and was perfect but to my surprise with the oil level fine and oil pump and oil pressure sending unit new after resetting codes the dash info still beeped and read oil pressure sending problem and other suggestions i can try?
