******01 Chevy Silverado Electrical Issues*****

I have an 01 Chevy Silverado truck. Just had
the transmission replaced. Week after the
repair I noticed my tail lights were no
working. Replaced bulbs didnt work. Then
the speedometer went out. Reset computer.
But didnt work. Please advise.

Check wire connecting plugs to make sure they're fully plugged in, they might've left one loose. Start with the ones by the fuse box and the ones by the computer

Yep I did that when the speedometer went out on. I did noticed a wire loose the by transfer case. I reconnected that. Now the trans is shifting really hard.

If it's shifting hard, I would take it back to the shop that replaced transmission before warranty expires

Probably fixed by now but the tail light issue most likely be a body ground it will be located back of truck ground wire comes out of the wiring harness
