Vibration in the gas pedal at highway speeds

I have a 2001 chevy impala 3.8L, and at highway speeds my gas pedal vibrates.  I have just recently bought the car and the brakes and rotors were done just a few weeks ago.   What could this problem be ?.  It drives good at lower speeds.
