try hemmings.com or specialinterest.com or ebay . nice car which engine combo do you have .
Nice ! i'm restoring my 65 lemans i converted it to a 4 speed from automatic,it's got a 71 GTO 455 & an M22 tranny & posi rear.
Rucko,i've put alot of money into the car, even went off the frame. There's nothing better than going down the road and slapping those geers.
yes i agree , i have quite a bit myself into my car, i had the engine rebuilt, brand new m-22 muncie, new clutch , new drive shaft and on & on !! lol I don't think it ever ends !!
i have had really good luck at www.amesperf.com. i had a 68 gto, now i have a 77 formula and a 77 grand prix, nice car and good luck!!!!
Good , ames is good , were they new or used ? Formula nice car I was a big fan of the early 70s version. a guy in my neighborhood had one ,man was that car fast.
Trip 65 i've tried Ames nothing. The brackets were original, but were in too bad of a shape.I'll keep trying.
how about muslecar headquarters 516 753 0720 ask for Ray they found a few hard to find parts for me in the past.
I've tried everywhere, even out West. All don't want to part out the parts.Does anyone know where i can find the specs. for the rear bumper supports for my 71 gto?
i think the only way you're gonna find them is to find somebody parting one out, unless you can have them made. or try the gtoforum.com if one of these guys dont have them i'm sure they can help you find them.
Trip 65,i've found someone to make the rear bumper brackets.I want to make sure they're done with the right specs. Thankx
