trailblazer warning lights and gauges crazy

Asked by GuruSV3X3 May 22, 2019 at 04:15 PM about the 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my 2003 EXT gauges and almost every warning signal are going crazy, flashing
and dinging constantly. I have recently changed the ignition switch to fix a
different problem. the DIC is going back and forth between unknown driver and
driver 2. Has anybody got a solution?

Typically guages going crazy are ignition switch related. Hope you used AC Delco brand? I'd disconnect the battery for a while. Also, clean the ground on the transmission hump behind the carpet, it's one screw, handles a ton of grounds for several items.

changed out ign switch again (AC Delco), cleaned tranny hump ground, have same problem. now sometimes all gauges don't work. any other ideas? thanks.

I heard that you should unplug the fuses under seat in the second row right side (maybe left)
