How do I get my radio off after shutting off my 2008 For Escape

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After shutting the vehicle off and getting out the radio stays on. When you get
out the passenger side door it shuts everything down as soon as you open the
door. Is there a sensor or some wiring issues? I also have a problem with my
automatic lights I put them in the proper mode to be automatic but they dont
come on. Is that a sensor as well?

Ryan sounds like there is and issue with the driver door switch,if the passenger side cuts your radio off,as far as the lights,it would be a sensor.

Is this an easy fix? Where is the sensor located?
