Does anyone know the engine life expectancy for 2005 Land Rover LR3 that has been certified by Land Rover?

Assuming you change the oil and take care of it you should be able to get 250-350K miles out of almost all modern engines, including any in a rover. ____________ Freelander

I have a 2005 Range Rover Land Rover with 130k mi. Replaced the radiator, water pump, and all hoses ($3000.00). replaced fuel pump ($800.00). Replaced both front air bags (they went flat) $1,500.00. New brakes ($1,200). I'm the 2nd owner. Don't think the original owner took good care of it. Love and car and will keep it for a couple more years.

I had the exact same experience with my 2005 Rover. Love the car and will keep it instead of paying $100.000,00 for a new one.

I have 156k on my 07 LR3, and it's doing great. No major mechanical problems, all electronics and air bags still work as designed. No complaints! With regular maintenance these trucks should go for at least 300k if not more.

Had a Discovery in perfect mechanical condition with 215,000 ,miles until my teenage son hit a tree. We also have a 2010 Ranger 2010 with 132,000 miles and only repairs have been a water pump and tie rod ends. These things last forever if you do the recommended maintenance and drive them on the highway at 70+ now and then.
