I have heard Porsche's can go a lot of miles. Have you rebuilt the engine or is that on the original engine?

Not me, that is impressive. My highest mileage was 260,000 miles on the original engine and gearbox (1996 993 C2), but it was getting a bit smoky on start up and needed a top end refresh.

Most likely the engine has been over-hauled. Even with the best of care, engines are worn out at these high milages. Still impressive that the car is still rolling on!
