picked up a rebuilt 1975 400 engine and i want to put it in a 67 gto, it is a
pontiac 400 engine rebuilt that was going into a 69 gto, any help??

It will fit but you will devalue your car considerably. I recommend keeping the original engine.

Yup! All day! By the way F_O_R, value is in the eye of the owner, it's just an object and his object at that! Besides, if he wants to sell it ever (As if...), an engine swap ain't nothing but a thing!!!

Installing a low compression smogger in a GTO is such a bad idea. The value will be in the eye of a buyer or an appraiser. The wrong engine could cut the value by $20,000. Most buyers will not even consider such a car as they are poor investments. Original cars can be excellent investments. I have made a lot of money with good cars but I am selective.

As manufactured in 75...yes, but a head change and a few other things done and it is as good as it was in the GTO before 75...You must be young, or mechanically challenged!
