My Esprit has a 350 sign on the front, but came with a 400 ci engine. How come?

Asked by slc1Firebird Nov 06, 2008 at 05:27 PM about the 1971 Pontiac Firebird

Question type: General

This was my brothers car and I KNOW he never changed the engine. How did it get the 400? People interested in buying have basically told me I am lying and the engine was changed, but I know for a fact it never was.
