My rpm's will drop down to zero then shoot back up. Motor stays running, I just can't go until the rmps go back up

First thing, check your vacuum lines. Especially the ones going to the IACV. Also make sure the clips are plugged in on the IACV. Not too familiar with the Z31s. Maybe look up a vacuum hose diagram.
