gear stuck

i have a problem with my golf that the gaer is stuck in its position sometimes and refuse to move i changed the clutch cable and it stil the same any body help ?

You'll need to remover the gearshift cables from the top of the transmission to determine whether its the cables binding up or an internal transmission issue.
