91 truck slows way down going up hill and shakes bad what will speed it up?
Slows down to 25 mph going up hill it has no get up and go. It also shakes really bad in 2nd and 3rd gear. What needs to be done to it?
...well if you've got an onboard diagnostic computer (most do), extract the codes that may reside there, this would give us a few crumbs to consider a powertrain error---codes Pxxx are what should show up. If this is a strict smog compliance (run a smog check on ya' periodically) would have to guess the EGR exhaust gas recirculation valve is clobberd with crud-
'91=ole' butyl rubber vacuum hoses what crack and leak, replace the rubber ones with silicone...probably have to ask for them...Gates rubber has them and summitracing.com has them too- probably not related to your specific problem, but just a note-skie that may help you in the future-
