Serpentine belt ripped twice

I have a2002 Miata and my serpentine belt
ripped and then I changed it and it ripped
again what could be the cause?

A bad or misaligned pulley, or one of the belt driven accessories seized. I'd start by checking the tensioner and idler pulleys.
