If possible, you will have to have the BCM reprogrammed to have the auto locks turned off. A dealership can do this for you. Dad's 1991 Mazda B-series truck, you had to hold the door handle up while you shut the door to prevent it from locking automatically on exiting the vehicle. Try this, it might work.

Before 3 months i had a problem with my Renault clio's locks. I can't unlocked with the remote central locking. I searched in the Internet how can solve the problem. I found some tips for similar problem - http://safekey1stllc.com/7-things-that-you-need-to-know-about-door- locks/. I hope to be helpful for you.
Miata . net has a procedure to stop that on early cars. It involves bending a coat hanger in a certain manner, reaching down the window slit and bending a tab on the door latch. It defeats the 'Must hold the button in' or it will lock feature. I have done it many times.
