Your egr valve could be stuck open causing it not to start.

Have you check you fuel pressure? And are the spark plugs firing?

Turn key on.Get underneath it and smack the gas tank in the center with a hammer and see if it starts pumping. If it does you need a fuel pump.

tuff4x4 : I have already replaced the fuel pump, and complete assembly, and relay switch under hood. also the plugs, wires, cap / rotor . also tried to reset ecm by disconnecting battery and waiting 30 minutes. newer battery 900 cca, cant quite figure out what the problem is. 185000 miles. could it be the tps, or egr or O2 sensors?

Get a test light and pull one of the injector plug ins off. First test for power when cranking. Then switch your test light lead to power + on battery and see if it is getting ground when cranking.

Q?? I replaced the fuel pump, alternator, battery, battery cables, spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, rotor. Truck wont start. Truck was a hard start before I did this. No diagnostic code or gage lights of any kind..new fuel pump reads accurate and works so does alternator....WTF is the issue!!???!!

It cranks and wants to start but does not...it was starting for 3 secs if I kept hitting the gas but it still would shut off.

I checked everything I did to make sure it was correct 100x but still this problem!!! Help please...yes I am a girl.

But I can take the fuel pump relay out and put a wire in prong 30 an 87 and it jumps the fuel pump and it stays on constantly and then my gas pressure valve on the fuel rail has perfect amount of pressure still won’t start I drove this truck home and tried to crank it the next day and it would just turn over no start I’m not putting any more money into it I need help on what it could be
