Rear blinker not working. light works fine..blinks rapidly

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

all front and rear light works fine. passenger side blinkers are fine. driver side front light and blinker works
fine. Rear one does not blinks and arrows flashes rapidly..any help is appreciated..

Rapid blinker indicates bad bulb. Rear drivers side bulb is bad or not making contact in socket.

thanks..but rear light (driver side) works when lights are on..just flasher is not working for signal..i was thinking if something to do with relay ?..changing bulb is no big deal i guess..

If Duel element bulb. Running lights would work with blinker element blown. Only blinker would not work.

Turn on emergency flashers. Different relay. See if bulb flashes then. If not bulb issue.

Three years later and still great information/advise. I did not know the bulb was DUEL element. I changed the bulb that was working for light only and now it does all the functions it is suppose to do! THANK YOU My advise... buy the two pack. It was dark and cold when I got home and realized the turn signal didn't work. And, I didn't know the problem. I had one bulb left over after changing the other side that had blown completely... Thank God for my buying the two..

Had the same issue, changed the bulb. Nothing. What else could be the problem?

Thank you so much. You was very helpful. I can fix this problem in my car. It is real very expensive to do it with the specialist. Only diagnosis cost will be 80. Thanks god you share your experience. Thank you very much!!
