pmg dash sensor light

a PMG(?)red sensor light, located on the far left side of dash lights, always comes on very soon after I start to drive. What is it and what does it mean?

Sorry 'bout that lightGear- It's a 1987 Honda Accord-4 dr sedan unsure if it's an LXi, LX of what. Is this enough info? Mechanic has it at the moment and even he isn't sure what the senosr light is or what it does to (does) Thanks in advance for any help
