Engine swapping

Question type: Car Customization

I've got an 85 F-150 with a 4.9L straight 6.  The body's falling apart, but she still runs strong.  I'd like to find a 4x4 (mine's a 2x4) with a blown engine or no engine and swap mine in, but 85's are kind of slim pickings.  What years of trucks will my engine swap into?  Wil it mate up to different transmissions?

That motor was offered up till the Mid to Late 90's before they came out with the next body style. I personally drove a '95 that had a 4.9L I6 in it, it was a 5 speed, but I imagine they could be easily mated to a AXOD automatic transmission.
