Where can I find the VIN of a 1978 suburban

most common is the windshield lower right, probably dirty being how its so old. other place would have been was the door jam. sure that tag was long gone years ago other places to look on them older vehicles is the firewall and engine block (provided its O.E.) also frame is a possibility too not sure on that one though. firewall would be the best bet if options on and two are no good. good luck!
