I have a 1985 Chevy Cavalier 2.0 engine with throttle body fuel injection that after it starts up will idle too fast when it is cold and then too slow and wants to die when it's warmer weather.

Have your trouble codes read. You can get this done at most reputable auto parts store. You having problems with operating temperature? Does the temperature needle not move at all? cold/hot weather? would start guessing, but the answer is stored in your trouble codes.
