How can I repair my drivers side door?

My 1994 chevy cheyanne has both interior and exterior handles broken,
how do I get the door open to repair both bandles?

I was able to peel back the top part of the interior panel to get to the interior
handle bar to see if I tugged on it if it would release the door latch and got
nothing.

call the lock smith to have the door opened and then repair it before you close the door again...
