Good Deal,Fair Deal

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

my question was to how you determine a vehicle to be a good buy, fair buy
and overpriced. Another thing a lot of the vehicles listed are at ,near, or
passed, the time for a timing belt change and when you purchase a vehicle
that needs one you are automatically increased by the cost of that repair
which usually runs anywhere $500-$ 2000, Unless you are willing to take a
chance and end up costing you a whole lot more. So if a car is listed as a
good buy for the price and you immediately have to spend an additional
$500-$2000 that doesn’t make it a good buy from their sale price. I was just
curious as to how you rate a Good Buy or Fair buy, most people can pretty
much figure out an overpriced vehicle.

Thank you,
Dean Ritchison

It's the price of your car as compared to other similar cars that are listed in YOUR particular area. I figured you wanted more than a copy and paste link response. You're welcome.
