...well there are a number of factors at play here~ 1.) does your temp gauge in the instrument panel ever reach the middle between C---H~ 2.) is the coolant "full COLD or full HOT" on the translucent jug reservoir? if it's empty, fill it up to full cold and watch for a leak...you might have a coolant leak, look for that 3.) the vacuum controls have deteriorated vacuum lines 4.) an electronic switching function has no switching ability of the solenoid is crunchy....all of them things might this be....yar~

5.) the thermostat is stuck in the OPEN postion...such that operating temperature is never realized...hence the C----H question~
