07 Cobalt 2.2 with a 06 2.2 in it

I have a 07 Cobalt with a 2.2 I pulled the motor out
and put in a 06 2.2 and now it only cranks dose not
start I did notice that the 06 dose not have a can
seansor but the 07 dose is there something I did
wrong or could try needing help need to get the car
on the road asap

Assuming the engine is good its probably an electronic problem. That mismatched sensor you mention could be the issue... or not. All that little stuff is important on modern cars. You may need the help of a technician to take your project the final step and get it running.

You would need to have all the correct sensors that are compatible with whichever ECM you are using in place and correctly connnected. Modern engines only do what the computer tells them to do. If the computer can't communicate witht he engine its not likely to run and certainly won't run correctly.
