Pontiac 350 Turbo Glide Help

Asked by Mattthec68 Jan 11, 2016 at 01:30 AM about the 1968 Chevrolet Camaro

Question type: Car Customization

Does anyone know if a 350 turbo glide in a 1968 Pontiac Firebird would
support a 400 ci stroked to 461. I have a rochester quadrajet and stock
heads.

There are mods for the 350 turbohydro. But a TH 400 is much stronger. Example: My SS 396 1969 Camaro came with a TH 400 & suppoerted 375-425 hp. Them a crate 427 L-88 560 hp too. A, B & M "bang shift" valve body & 3000 rpm stall speed converter helped.
