96 grand am problems

anyone know why my 96 grand am se 204 litre twin cam wont idal? it also drops rpm"s while drivig. runs really rough.

check your egr it might be stuck open. quick easy test. take the e.g.r off the engine plug it with your thumb and have someone start the car. if it idels there you go if not let me know what happend in more detales. hot cold after you drive awhile all the time ect.

There was a 3-20-07 recall (#33098) because the MRA (modular reservoir assembly) was manufactured with the vent & fuel return tubes reversed. You can call 1-877-335-7443 to find out if yours was affected by this problem & if it was ever taken care of . Worth checking out to see if it has anything to do with your problem
