The spec sheet is unclear. here's a link you can check out on your cars specs (http://www.automotive.com/2004/12/pontiac/sunfire/specifications/index.html) as for how hard they are to work on it really depends on the job you need to do. Go to your local parts big box or local library and check out the Chilton's manual for your car. That will give you the procedures on various brake jobs and you can determine if you want to attempt to do the work. Good luck!
