My friend needs a car we found an 03 montero sport for
sale the lady told her the 4wd is slipping what does this
mean? Would this effect every day driving? Is it okay if
she never plans to use the 4wd? Any help is appreciated
as she needs a vehicle stat. Btw I have no idea what the
trim is I saw all the options by the pic all I see is AWD? So
confused on that part and just picked one

Yeah came here as I always do usually someone that knows something as paying a shop isn’t in her budget for purchasing a car right now unfortunately
4WD does not slip. Maybe the transmission is slipping. RUN AWAY from this DOG.
Thank you! I sorta assumed but wasn’t positive
i have got an 03 montero sport. sometimes the car suddenly losses power whilst driving but regains power when I turn the ignition off and on again
I have a 2003 Mitsubishi the air sometime works and then it will quit, but then it will start working again. The fan works, but. So I was going to start with putting refrigerant in first. How many cans would it take? And would this cause a sound of a belt being loose
How many cans of refrigerant does a 2003 Mitsubishi Montero sport take.
I bought my 2003 Montero Sport in 2006. I did a lot of research after I bought it, (of course). I still love it, 14 yrs later. I learned early on the transmissions slips at low speeds, mine usually at 20 and below. I still drive mine, and it still slips at low speed through my neighborhood, but still no problems either.
