my car wont turn over it just clicks the box etacs clicks also and the lights go dim when i turn the key

i have a 2005 mitusbishi galant and when i turn the ignition key it clicks someone told me its the etacs module what can it be

brand new battery the car has power when i turn the key the lights go out

Lights going out sounds like a connection issue. Clean and tighten the connections. The factory connections tend to break right where the bolt goes thru them.

Ok so I have 2001 galant I was driving my car and just died was stuck on the side of the interstatepopped the hood looked at the fuses The engine control fuse was blown replaced it and it drove fine for a bow our hour and a half did the same thing just completely stopped running so I checked it again and it was blown put a Nother fuse in would not start i have put 3 new fuses in and my car will still not trun on has this happend to anyone or can anyone give some suggestions thank..

The design of this positive battery cable is rediculous. Constantly having connection issues, blown fuses, even after replacement. Who ever designed this apparatus is an asshole.

If I ever see a Mitsubishi engineer I swear to God I'd throw a rock at them. This positive battery cable design is the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

I have a Mitsubishi Galant 1994 I turn the key but it won’t start it starts when I wiggle the key around in the ignition why does it do that?
