Backfiring

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just replaced the carb (edlebrock quadrajet) and
distributor, I think the timing is fine because I idle
good at 10TBC  and in gear at 6TBC but when I
drive I back fire

Sounds like you may have a crossed spark plug wire or miss firing plug. Check firing order for your vehicle.
