Why can I not get the 1994 Lincoln town car to start?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Been trying to fix the Lincoln; it started with the issue of:
*Will start up but then randomly wouldn't; you'd have to wait anywhere from
30 minutes to hours before it decided to start
*We changed the fuel pump
*Put in a new fuel pressure regular
*Check the fuel pump switch

*Alternator (Sp?) was replaced this summer as well.

Will turn over & make noise like it wants to start but still wont; does anyone
have any other suggestions as to what this may be??

Not entirely what I was looking for but it is a good suggestion, thank you =]

I have a 1996 Towncar & sometimes mine does that too. Usually I have to lock or unlock the door with the pass code or get in & lock it & unlock it from the inside. If that doesn't work, I have to lock it or unlock it using the door key. It has something to do with the anti- theft program.

My '94 Town Car did the same thing. Someone told me to change the fuel pump relay. That was it! It still happens from time to time and usually switching the relay with one of the other 2 beside it, will work, but I keep a spare in the car now just to be safe.
